Tessellate

Three ways to run a cube

Each mode changes what the world looks like and what you have to read. You can play them one at a time, or all together.

  1. Tube

    The infinite tunnel

Run the inside of a square tunnel built from cubes. It turns in every direction and never ends, and hazards sit on all four walls.

  2. Path

    Follow the line

The same tunnel, but now there is a lane to follow. The lane weaves from wall to wall, so the skill is reading the line ahead.

  3. 2D

    Flat, and still 3D

The walls fall away until only the floor is left. You run a flat cube course whose height changes as you go, like a geometry-dash stage in a 3D world.

Party

Party: every mode, back to back

Party chains Tube, Path and 2D into a single run, joined without hard cuts. Tube and Path share the same tunnel, and going to 2D peels the walls away until only the floor is left.

Levels

Hand-built runs that mix every mode.

Six things that want you gone

Hazards are placed on the walls and the floor. Level makers can place them by hand.

  • Spikes
  • Bouncers
  • Lasers
  • Electric arcs
  • Rotating blades
  • Holes

Build your own level

The level editor is a list of commands. Stack them into blocks, switch mode between blocks, test the run, then publish it to Global.

Tron Arena

Ride the outside of a cube

The arena is a sealed cube with six faces. You have two buttons, left and right. Everything else is timing.

NORTHWESTFLOOREASTSOUTHCEILING
Cross the edge and the wall becomes your floor.
  1. Two inputs

You always move forward at a steady speed. Turn left or turn right, and that is the whole control scheme.

  2. Gravity follows you

Run off the edge of a face and you roll onto the next one. You keep climbing in the same direction and the wall you hit becomes your floor.

  3. Your trail is a wall

Every rider leaves a light trail behind. Trails have a maximum length, so they fade at the tail as you keep riding.

  4. Four ways out

You are out if you hit another rider's trail, your own trail, a solid block, or fall into a hole. Boost pads give you a short burst of speed.

Find a match

Up to 15 riders per arena, solo or in teams of two to four.

  • Quick Match

Jump in as Solo, Duo, Trio or Squad.

  • Campaign

Chapters of levels with objectives like winning, surviving, eliminating riders or finishing in the top. Earn up to three stars on each.

  • Practice

Play offline against bots. Choose Rookie, Racer, Veteran, Pro or Legend.

  • Rooms

Browse open rooms, create your own, or join a friend with a room code. On the same network you can also play over LAN.

Design the arena

Arena Maker lets you paint your own cube. Draw blocks, holes and boost pads on all six faces, place spawn points, then test-ride it and publish it for the community.

Shapes include rectangle, circle and line. There is mirror symmetry, undo and redo, and a test ride before you publish.

Level up, unlock, customize

Matches earn XP and coins. A season pass has a free track and a premium track of rewards, and rewards include skins, trails, titles, emotes and badges. Your rider is yours to customize.

Your account, your data

Online features run on a player profile. Here is what that profile is and what other players can see of it.

  • You start as a guest

When you first go online, the game creates a guest profile tied to your device, so there is nothing to sign up for before you play.

  • What your profile holds

Your display name, level, XP, coins, equipped skin, season progress, campaign stars and match stats.

  • What other players see

In a match, other riders see your display name, level, title and skin, and your kills, ping and team. Levels and arenas you publish show your name as the author.

  • Offline still works

Practice against bots and your own saved arenas work without a connection, and progress is saved on the device.

Play Tessellate

Run the tunnel, then take the fight to the arena.
